Welcome to Town of Monon! Our town is defined less by boundaries on a map than by the sense of shared values our residents hold dear. We take pride in maintaining a wholesome lifestyle, rich in cultural history, along with a deep commitment to the preservation of our environment and a progressive approach to local business.
The Town of Monon continues to improve its compliance with nondiscrimination and accessibility requirements in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Town Hall is accessible by a ramp and an elevator. A driveway at the front of the building allows vehicles to park within feet of the front door. Sidewalks and curbs are sloped and clearly marked. ADA compliant picnic tables are available at the Monon Town Park. A Letter of Commitment was submitted to INDOT on July 21, 2016 by ADA Coordinator, Deborah Lee Reindt, Deputy Clerk-Treasurer.
