Please continue using your green trash totes through Saturday, December 27th. After trash is collected on December 27th, town employees will pick up and remove the green totes. Do not place any trash in the green totes after they have been emptied on Saturday, December 27th.
Residents should then begin using their new orange totes. The Town has transitioned to On Point for trash collection.
Due to the holiday, orange totes will be emptied on Saturday, January 3rd, and will then continue with regular Friday pickups going forward.
Large Items:
All customers are allowed to set out one (1) large item per week at no additional charge. If the item is upholstered or is a mattress or box spring, it must be bagged. Large bags may be purchased at Town Hall for $5.00 each and can be picked up at the office located at 800 N. Adams St.
To schedule pickup of a large item, please call Town Hall at 219-253-6441 by Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.

Por favor, seguid usando vuestras cajas de basura verde hasta el sábado 27 de diciembre. Residents will begin receiving their new orange trash totes early next week.
Please continue using your green tote through Saturday, December 27th. Town employees will follow behind trash pickup on Saturday, December 27th, to collect and remove all green totes.
Due to the holiday, On Point will be in town on Saturday, January 3rd, to collect trash from the orange totes only.
Green totes will no longer be used after December 27th.
Regular trash pickup will resume on Friday, January 9th. As before, residents must have their orange trash tote at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on Fridays to ensure pickup.

Los residentes comenzarán a recibir sus nuevos contenedores de basura naranja a principios de la próxima semana.
