Grant award!

The Town of Monon has been awarded $550,000 from the Office of Community & Rural Affairs (OCRA) for improvements to the wastewater collection systems by re-lining existing pipes and rehabilitating manholes in the system which are in poor condition.  This project will improve the wastewater service to residents and decrease the amount of stormwater entering the wastewater system.

BRUSH/GRASS/LEAVES PICK UP

April 18, 2016

Brush and bagged grass/leaves MUST be put out for Town pick up on your yard area between the sidewalk and the street!  The Town will NOT pick up in the alley!

1.  Grass clippings and raked-up leaves must be put into plastic bags.  Each bag must NOT weigh over forty pounds.

2.  Limbs from storms, trimmings, brush and branches will be picked up.  No full trees or large trunk pieces are allowed.

3.  No contractor material will be picked up by the Town.  If you hire a company to cut down or trim a tree(s), the contractor must remove all of the brush and tree parts.

4.  No key to our Town brush area will be given out to a resident.  The Town will pick up the brush as described above.
